Red alert!

the known univers is being attacked by unknown alien species with advanced technologies. They attack everybody on sight, intelligence even suspects them not being organic life forms at all.

They are pushing our borders, and we need to combine forces to fend them off.

Ok enough with some storyline :p but the idea is that the NPC's in those 'danger zones' are an alien force (wich we can't play ofcourse) and are way harder than regular NPC's. Ofcourse, defeating them gains you a nice XP/cash bonus. Trading in those area's (only something for advanced players wich can defend themselfs) also gains an additional bonus.


what do you guys think?

Is a nice idea. would like just basic combat for multiple players to be effectivly different from single player stuff first though.

well i know this is only my first round, but it he starts getting slightly boring after a while. I mean.. there are no chalenges left for me already. some harder NPC's would be nice. Perhaps every 'zone' should have it's own level? there might be zones wich you can only survive past lvl 70?

it's just an idea, but this would make working together also more interesting as you said :)

it is already interesting.... when the round isn't 3 months long... maybe longer, i stopped tracking it

We're at 3 and a half months at the moment Grady, and yeah. It has been a bit too long. I think Milo wants to change it up a bit though. I'm not really in an inventive mood at the moment unfortunatly Which is a bit unfortunate. Who knows maybe next week I'll get inspired.
