Hello,
I havent been active for a while but i have an idea, which may help the popularity of this game.
It seem common sense isnt being used in regard with how long a round lasts, why do we have to have a round that lasts 3 months when you have a clear winner after 2?
it makes it so boring for the rest of the people who come online knowing they cant win, and there isnt enough player base to compete for 2nd 3rd etc place... its you iether win or loose.....
it pointless i dont understand why the round has to do the full 3 months cycle when in reality the game is over.
something needs to be set up where people can vote on whether to end the round or not.... makes it more interesting for everyone and means everyone can compete....
this is what i think leet me know what you guys think...

Let me weigh in on this one:

this is my first round, and i joined way past the point i could make any big difference. However, by stayin gactive i managed to get enough experience to get to the 7th position.

if i had a few more weeks, i would have been able to raid ports and homeworlds, and with the help of my alliance perhaps even planets.

the thing is, ppl tend to give up once a person gets to strong. Don't! keep fighting, keep chalenging him... and soon enough you'll be able to take him down.

however, on addition to this: i think it should be easyer to work together. even in a clan, i think most of the things you do, you do pritty much solo.

its not like tdzk where you can take out an alliance who have made 5 planets, and are high enough level to keep them.. it 99% impossible to do so. it just makes more challenging and fun for eveyone to keep the new rounds rolling i think

Prime example... I was 1 shot (10 ships) by grady_seasons. Granted my ships were built for NPCs and not PK. Combat only lasted 1 round. I didn't stand a chance due to both his player level (which is nigh impossible for me to have caught up to starting so late) and his ship level. All 10 of my ships were around level 154 and cost 150 bil to make. I've been told that the fleet grady_seasons rolls with is around level 400. There is simply no catching up to that in the 3-4 weeks that I've been playing.

nope, i recon that. Thus i refer to my previous post: level caps and attack range so a lvl 80 player can't kill a lvl 10 player. That hardly makes any sense at all imho

To an extent it does. Yes new bashing does suck. Majorily. Sadly it will always be a part of PvP based games.

a level range is a good idea, it makes it more competative.... but not if a player is a high level he is untouchable... the level range should only be if a higher level is attacking a lower level not the other way round
