Weapons can be added to any ship with at least 1 Weapon Slot. Weapons may be bought at homeworlds.
The following is a list of all Ship weapons available.
Lets go in order of the chart above:
Weapon Size: A ship must be at least this size to carry this weapon. Note Any Size 5 or Planetary Siege class weapons cannot fire against ships, they will only fire against planets or ports. If you attempt to fire a Planetary Siege class weapon at a ship it will malfunction and not fire. Also, size 4 or smaller weapons can not be equipped to size 5 or larger ships as they are too small to mount on such a large vessel.
Shield Damage: This is the amount of damage a single turret of this type can do to shields.
Armor Damage: This is the amount of damage a single turret of this type can do to amor.
Fighter Damage: This is the amount of damage a single turret of this type can do to fighters.
Weapon Accuracy: The Accuracy of a weapon determines how often the weapon will hit a target. This chance can be increased by upgrading a ships AI.
Weapon Rating: When you purchase a weapon, it's rating is added to your Ships rating. This number is a reflection of how strong a ship can be versus a planet or a ship.
Weapon Reputation: A weapon's reputation is the amount of reputation required with the appropriate faction before you can purchase the weapon. The faction the weapons belong to are indicated by the color of the weapon name in the help files.
Weapon Tech: Weapon tech is the amount of Tech Units that a weapon costs in addition to the normal credit cost.
Note: Weapons will fire in the order you have installed them into your ships weapon slots. Please see the Combat section for an example of a combat report.
